The Cost of Following Jesus

¹⁸ When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. ¹⁹ Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”

²⁰ Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”

Following means sacrificing. what will you sacrifice in order to be in the light?

there is no magic solution to get you through the trials of life - but there is a light that never goes out... and in that light is life.

cockroaches scurry and hide when the light hits them. don't run from light. embrace its warmth and let it guide you. trials may come but the light will satisfy the soul, while everything else will leave you wanting and needing more.
