while on the cross, one of the seven says spoken from the mouth of Jesus was from Psalm chapter 22.
ELI, ELI, LAMA SABACHTHANI?" that is, "MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME?"

so many random statistics. so many things to consider... to remember.
how will we be remembered? as a person who added to the betterment of the world?
or as a statistic?

we all go through struggles in this life. we've all felt forsaken... forgotten.
but no matter how many times we forget our place in this world; no matter how many times we neglect God; no matter how many times we go our own way rather than the way of Jesus, He still remembers us.

on the cross he remembers us.
on the cross he unites us.

when we claim repentance and live righteousness, not only then are we remembered - but our sins are forgotten.

Christ on the cross, abandoned. alone. remembering us. before we were a mere gleam...
